I have booked my custom art and made payment, do I have to do anything else?

Yes. I am currently working on adding an option to upload your photo/s online, but in the meantime, once your order has been paid for, please email your photo/s to illustrationsbycindy@hotmail.com. I will then have access to your photo/s and can begin creating your art.

How long does it take to receive my digital images?

Generally 3-5 business days from booking made, and photos received, you will receive a sample watermarked version for review. If you are happy with your art you will receive your PNG digital images via email shortly after. The delivery time may increase during holiday seasons.

Will I have a chance to ask for changes in my art?

I understand that sometimes photo outlines don’t always workout, so included in your order is up to two additional minor edits on your art. This will be an available option at the time I send through a sample version of your art for approval. Further additional edits thereafter may incur extra artist fee at discretion. Please be as detailed as possible if you have any concerns, and as always, the more photos the better when it comes to face shape, or hair changes if required.

I don’t have a photo with everyone together, can you use multiple photos together?

Yes, yes and yes. As long as the images are workable, meaning similar angels, I can photoshop them into each. I may have to alter body position that may not be identical to your images but it will be a beautiful close representation of what you are after. This is commonly used when loved ones have passed and include them with recent photos to represent their presence still within the families.

I have my PNG digital images, now what?

Pick your frame first, this way you can take it along with you and make sure you print the correct size. Officeworks has great low-cost printing options and can print posters to size if you already don’t have a preferred printer. I use the printing counter option for these prints. Thicker paper, or card is the best type to print on. Or typically an at-home laser printer may get similar results. Best results are printers 1200dpi or higher on larger prints.

I booked my art without text in error, can this be fixed?

As careful as we are when ordering, sometimes we make mistakes. Please email me as soon as possible at illustrationsbycindy@hotmail.com and I can send you an additional manual invoice to make payment (bank transfer or PayPal available) for the extra add-ons.

What type of paper should I print on?

A printing specialist service should be able to help you decide by showing you paper samples in store, but I would recommend 250gsm matte paper or higher gsm for best results.

I am not gifting this art for a while, can you keep my art off social media?

I try my best to keep all art off social media until art has been gifted, but it is also important for my business to grow and show case all my new art to existing and potential customers. Therefore it is very important to advise your estimated gift date, if your art is not a gift, it may appear within ten calendar days from delivery. I have included an option for you to provide an estimated gift date when booking your custom art. If your baby's name is not yet announced, please advise and it will be removed from the image prior to sharing on my Instagram profile as a courtesy.

What is the Classic & Midnight in the colour option?

“Classic” is my signature white background & black line, however “Midnight” is a beautiful and bold option for customers who are after a different impact or look. “Midnight” is a black background with white lines. I have an included an option for your custom art to be delivered in both colour versions. It is an additional $10 to have your custom art delivered in both colours.

Can I choose a different font for my text?

Unfortunately I do not provide options for alternative font styles. All my text is hand drawn along with your custom art. In the future if I find access to a suitable program that will allow me to add different font styles to your art without compromising quality I might offer the options.

Do you create business logos?

Sorry, I am currently not accepting commercial artwork or design. All custom art is for personal use only.

Can I add colour, bakcgrounds or facial features into my custom art?

Sorry, I am not currently offering options for colours, backgrounds or facial features via my shop, at this stage.

Can I order a print and/or frame service?

Unfortunately I am not providing this service…yet. I am working very hard on getting my at-home studio up and running so I can provide a complete service to my customers and deliver unique high quality products to your doors, and save you the trouble of figuring out the best way to print at Officeworks!

However, if you are a local customer (living in Mandurah, Western Australia 6180 - 6210) I may be able to offer the service to you. My prices are listed below additional to your art booking and include collecting your print, frame purchase and framing, eco-friendly string gift wrapped and delivery. My image printed blurry, what happened?

In the rare occasion where your image prints blurry, firstly you need to check that you have downloaded your image correct. I give an approximate size of your file size in your delivery email. If your file size is very low (eg; 100KB) you have saved a thumbnail image that has compressed the size of the original file, this will significantly compromise the quality of your image. Your file sizes should be around 550KB - 1MB and saved in a PNG format. If this is all correct, there may be printer or ink issues that need to be fixed, or a low quality printer has been used, suggestively a 2400 x 2400 dpi printer at minimum is required to achieve crisp, sharp lines on larger prints. Additionally you can check that your printer selection is not defaulted to an ink saving print mode.

Why don’t you offer Afterpay at checkout?

I love to use Afterpay when shopping too! But unfortunately, artist services and digital products are not eligible to access this method of payment right now. However, I do accept payment via Visa, MasterCard and PayPal. PayPal also offers, to eligible customers, instalment payments. Check out if your PayPal account is eligible for instalment payments during checkout or log into your account at www.paypal.com.au.

Do you make art for customers outside of Australia?

The best thing about Digital Art is I can send your images to you anywhere in the world. I welcome all international customers. Payments can be made via PayPal.
